Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice
1 cup water
2 tablespoons oil

2 bay leaves
2 cardamom pods
2 cloves

1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup mixed vegetables (such as carrots, peas, bell peppers)
1 cup cooked chicken or beef, shredded
1/2 cup chicken or beef stock
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
Salt, to taste


Instructions
:
Rinse the rice in cold water and set aside.
